Change PDF Page Size — Convert to A4, A3, Letter, and More

StayPDF's Page Size tool resizes PDF pages to A4, A3, B5, US Letter, Legal, and other standards. Standardize a contract that arrived in Letter when you need A4, or unify a mixed-size document set before printing.

All processing happens inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server. Resize confidential documents without exposing them. Free, no account, no installation.

A4 (210 × 297 mm) is the default in most of the world, while US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in North America — so a document that prints cleanly in one region can clip or leave odd margins in the other. Converting the page size fixes that mismatch in one step, with no page limit and no StayPDF branding added to your file.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between A4 and Letter?

A4 is 210 × 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 × 11 in (about 216 × 279 mm). Letter is roughly 6 mm wider and 18 mm shorter than A4. PDFs from North American senders are usually Letter, so converting to A4 is often needed to match the rest of the world's paper.

What are the dimensions of A4, A3, B5, Letter, and Legal?

A4 is 210 × 297 mm, A3 is 297 × 420 mm, B5 (JIS) is 182 × 257 mm, US Letter is about 216 × 279 mm (8.5 × 11 in), and US Legal is about 216 × 356 mm (8.5 × 14 in). This tool converts between all of these standard sizes.

Are contents scaled?

Yes. The default "fit" mode scales contents to occupy the new page; some margin may appear depending on aspect ratio.

Will fonts and images stay sharp?

Yes. Conversion uses pdf-lib at the vector level, so text and vector graphics are preserved.

Can I rotate pages here?

No — this tool only changes the size. For 90° rotations, use the Rotate PDF tool.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser.
