Add Text to PDF — Place Text Anywhere on a Page

StayPDF's Add Text tool lets you place text wherever you need it on a PDF — fill in form blanks, add notes to a contract, append clarifications to a handout — all without printing. Non-Latin characters are supported too.

All processing happens inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server. Annotate sensitive forms and contracts without exposing them. Free, no account, no installation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I type in Japanese / Chinese / Korean?

Yes. The tool uses your system fonts, so non-Latin scripts render correctly.

Can I pick a specific font?

You can pick from sans-serif, serif, or monospace. Because system fonts are used, the exact glyph shapes will vary by device.

Can I edit the text after saving?

No — once saved, the text is rasterized into the page. Keep the original file if you might need to redo it.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser.
