Sign PDF — Add Handwritten or Image Signatures

StayPDF's PDF Sign tool lets you draw a signature with your mouse or trackpad, or upload a saved signature image, and place it anywhere on a PDF. Skip the print-sign-scan loop for contracts, forms, and internal documents — sign directly in the browser and save.

All processing happens inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server. Sign sensitive contracts knowing the document never leaves your device. No account, no installation needed.

Frequently asked questions

Is this signature legally valid?

This tool produces a visual signature (an image of your handwriting) embedded in the PDF. It's not the same as a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate. It works for internal sign-offs and informal agreements; check your local rules for legally-binding contracts.

Can I move the signature after saving?

No — once saved, the signature is rasterized into the page. Double-check the placement in the preview before exporting.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser.
